Purpose of data processing
The purpose of data processing is to organize visits for anniversaries. On special birthdays and marriage anniversaries, a representative of the council of the pilgrimage town of Kevelaer personally congratulates the jubilarians on behalf of the council and the administration. If such a visit is requested, the pilgrimage town of Kevelaer requires your personal data. The personal data to be processed in this context is earmarked, i.e. it will only be used for the purpose for which it was collected.
Main legal basis
Your personal data is processed on the following legal basis:
Art. 6 para. 1 c) GDPR in conjunction with § 50 para. 2 Federal Registration Act (BMG)
However, you have the option to object to the forwarding of your data at any time in accordance with § 50 Para. 5 BMG. In this case, you will not receive any congratulations.
Recipients and categories of recipients of the data
Your data will only be processed in accordance with data protection legislation. Your data will only be forwarded to the persons who organize the birthday visits or visits for marriage anniversaries and to those who carry out the visits or, in the case of marriage anniversaries, to third parties involved (e.g. music association / press) in accordance with your feedback. .
Duration of storage and retention periods
Your personal data collected as part of this process will be stored for the period necessary for the lawful fulfillment of the tasks. Thereafter, this data will be stored for a further 5 years due to further archiving requirements. After this period has expired, the personal data will be irretrievably deleted unless longer storage is required for special reasons.
Rights of the data subject
Your rights to information, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, data transfer and objection regarding the personal data collected are expressly pointed out at this point. The legal basis for this is Articles 15 to 21 of the General Data Protection Regulation and Sections 49 and 50 of the NRW Data Protection Act.
