From Wednesday (15.01.2025), the Straßen.NRW regional branch Niederrhein will start renovation work in the area of the ramp. The work to be carried out includes the renovation of the road surface on the connecting ramp between the L486nand the B9"Kölner Straße", the renovation of the associated cycle path and the construction of a new traffic light system at the junction of the L386n(OW1)/L491"Weller Landstraße"/connecting ramp B9.
Detour routes are signposted on site for the full closure of the connecting ramp. Motor vehicle traffic will be diverted in both directions via the B9"Kölner Straße / Gelder Dyck", L486"Velder Dyck" and L361"Walbecker Straße" to the L491"Weller Landstraße". As the L361"Walbecker Straße" / L486"Velder Dyck" junction is an accident blackspot, a mobile traffic light system will be installed here for the duration of the detour. Pedestrians and cyclists will be diverted via the B9"Kölner Straße", "Gelderner Straße" and the connecting ramp "Weller Landstraße" to the L491"Weller Landstraße" and vice versa.
The work is expected to last until the end of March 2025.
