An unforgettable evening for the award winners and great entertainment for the audience. The 37th Kevelaer Marketing Award ceremony kicked off with a real eye-catcher. A light show and projections on the 35m² LED wall got visitors in the mood for the evening. In keeping with tradition, presenter Christoph Kepser hosted the evening. The band Fairground Funhouse once again provided the best musical entertainment this year. The entertaining videos of this year's award winners, produced by Zellmannfilm und Medien GmbH, provided the best entertainment.
Akustik Gesthüsen receives the award in the category Rethinking/Re-thinking
The Kevelaer-based company, based in Winnekendonk, is the place to go when it comes to acoustics. The company's specialization in planning and installation work in the entire field of acoustic and dry construction is the reason for its nomination in the Rethink/Reimagine category. The use of special building materials and the implementation of absolutely individual solutions make Akustik Gesthüsen GmbH a specialist. Sound insulation is a particular challenge for swimming pools, which is why you are in good hands with Akustik Gesthüsen. "The company's homepage says: 'Your extraordinary wish is our challenge - and this shows very well how solutions can be found by rethinking and rethinking. We are therefore particularly pleased to be able to present the Kevelaer 2024 Marketing Award in this category to Akustik Gesthüsen," says Mayor Dr. Dominik Pichler, confirming the choice of the award winner.
LIGHTON Veranstaltungstechnik receives the award in the Locality/Regionality category
In 2020, LIGHTON Veranstaltungstechnik was founded from two existing companies. The customer's needs in terms of lighting and sound technology are the team's top priority. With professional equipment and many years of experience, the company supports events such as trade fairs, company parties, concerts, plays, birthdays and weddings. This year, the Kervenheim-based company was once again on site with its entire team at the Parookaville and San Hejmo festivals. Events such as "Kevelaer im Licht" and "20 Jahre Siegfriedspektakel" at APX Xanten were also competently supported. LIGHTON Veranstaltungstechnik also sponsored a large part of the impressive 35m² LED wall at this year's Kevelaer Marketing Prize. "In LIGHTON Veranstaltungstechnik, we have found a very successful local and regional company. Its commitment to events in our region and thus its contribution to the first-class leisure facilities is outstanding," said business promoter Verena Rohde, explaining the awarding of the prize.
Special prize for Anna Janßen at the Kevelaer 2024 Marketing Award
Kevelaer's flagship athlete Anna Janßen is honored at the 37th Kevelaer Marketing Award. The German markswoman began shooting as a child, following in the footsteps of her older brother. She has won numerous awards both individually and as part of a team. Janßen attracted international attention at the age of 16 when she won the silver medal with the air rifle at the Junior World Championships in Suhl. In 2021, she became two-time world champion with the small bore rifle as a junior in Lima, to name just a few stages of her sporting career. Her participation in the Olympic Games this year with 4th place is another highlight. "It is obvious that Anna Janßen's sporting achievements should be honored with the special award for her charisma beyond Kevelaer's borders. We are delighted to have a model athlete in Kevelaer in Anna Janßen," said Mayor Dominik Pichler, confirming the award winner.
AI expert
At the end of the evening, the invited guests and local entrepreneurs were able to enjoy an exciting presentation by Dr. Hubertus Porschen. Porschen is an entrepreneur, author and AI expert. He gave a realistic assessment of the opportunities offered by AI and ChatGPT in particular. Porschen sees this as a clear opportunity to increase efficiency and reduce the workload of employees. Specifically, this can be found in use cases such as support in sales through data qualification, replying to emails, summarizing and creating texts, and support during meetings. Porschen also discussed specific examples from the entrepreneurs in attendance.
After the event, it was possible to talk in a pleasant atmosphere and round off the evening. Networking is particularly important for entrepreneurs and was not neglected.
