The German Red Cross (DRK), Kleve-Geldern district association, honored people who were able to help the sick and accident victims with their blood donations and thus save lives.
Together with Mayor Dr. Dominik Pichler, DRK District Board Chairwoman Maria Anna Kaußen presented honorary pins and certificates. They expressed their heartfelt thanks on behalf of the unknown blood recipients:

The volunteers from the DRK blood donation groups, led by Andrea Brunnen (Kevelaer-Stadt, Wetten), Eva-Maria Magoley (Twisteden) and Peter Peters (Winnekendonk), who provide free refreshments after the donation, were also warmly thanked by those present.
