In order to make use of a childcare place in daycare facilities, parents must notify the youth welfare office of their child's desired childcare requirements, the scope of care and the type of care at least six months prior to making use of the place. The notification of need must be submitted electronically via the "KITA-ONLINE" or "TPF-ONLINE" (day care) needs and registration procedure of the Youth Welfare Office of the pilgrimage town of Kevelaer and serves to determine the overall need.
The pilgrimage town of Kevelaer uses the KITA-ONLINE or TPF-ONLINE tool to offer parents the opportunity to find out about the various daycare facilities and childminders in Kevelaer from the comfort of their own home or to search specifically for childcare options in the local area. The notification of need via KITA-ONLINE only takes a few steps: Select the preferred KITA, specify second and third wishes, fill in the notification of need form, send it off and then confirm the link in the confirmation. Without confirmation of the link, the notification of need expires. A childcare place can and will only be allocated if, in addition to the notification of need via KITA- ONLINE, a personal interview has taken place at the KITA.
When registering your childcare needs via TPF-ONLINE, you can make use of a specialist consultation with Ms. Schoofs or Ms. Trötschkes in advance. The notification of need is also quick here: Select the preferred childminder, fill in the notification of need form and confirm via the link in the confirmation. The following also applies here: A childcare place can and will only be allocated if, in addition to the notification of need, personal contact has been made with the childminder.
In order for the demand report to be taken into account in the kindergarten demand planning for 2025/2026 - i.e. for the kindergarten year starting on August 1, 2025 - it should be entered via "KITA- ONLINE" by December 20, 2024 at the latest.
Important: Parents who have already submitted a notification of need can view their KITA-ONLINE notification of need at any time via the newly created "Parent login" and make changes. Requirement notifications already entered in KITA-ONLINE must be updated for the kindergarten year 2025/26 (start: 01.08.2025).
