Winter break in the pilgrimage town of Kevelaer

The festive season is just around the corner and the pilgrimage town of Kevelaer is also entering the Christmas season. There is important news for visitors and citizens looking for tourist information or advice during this time: The Tourist Information of the pilgrimage town of Kevelaer will be closed between Christmas and New Year from December 23 to January 1 inclusive. "We would like to give our employees a well-deserved break and give them the opportunity to enjoy the holidays with their families before we start the new year with a lot of energy," says Verena Rohde, Business Development Manager and Head of Kevelaer Marketing. Anyone wishing to stock up on brochures or buy theater tickets or KevelaerCards between Christmas and New Year can do so in the information building at the Solegarten St. Jakob. The information building will be staffed from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. from December 27 to 30.

Changed opening hours from January

At the beginning of the new year, the opening hours of the Tourist Information will be adjusted to winter conditions and tourist demand. From January 2 until the start of the pilgrimage season at the beginning of May, the Tourist Information office in the town hall on Peter-Plümpe-Platz will open its doors Monday to Thursday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Fridays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. for personal or telephone advice. From March, the Tourist Information team will also be available in the office on Saturdays from 10 am to 1 pm. Outside opening hours, you can find out everything you need to know about the pilgrimage town of Kevelaer at www.kevelaer-marketing.de. The shortened opening hours allow the Tourist Information staff to prepare intensively for the coming summer season and at the same time offer the usual friendly and informative service to the winter tourists and citizens of Kevelaer.
